Okay, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Is Mauga in Comp?” and I was like, “I gotta figure this out myself!” So, I jumped right into the game to see what’s up.
First thing I did was check the Competitive Play mode. You know, just straight to the point. I scrolled through the hero selection, all excited, and… nothing. No Mauga. My heart sank a little, not gonna lie.
Then, I remembered there’s usually a hero rotation or something, so I went to the main menu. Maybe there was an announcement I missed? Nope, nothing there either. Feeling a bit lost, I even double-checked the hero gallery. Just in case he was hiding or something, haha.
I even looked at Quick Play, thinking maybe he’s only available there for now. I was starting to get bummed, thinking I’d have to wait.
I started to do what most of people will do, searched it on the interenet.
After doing some “detective” things, I found out that it might takes some time for the new hero to join the Competive mode.
So, after all that searching and checking in the game, my answer is: Nope, looks like Mauga isn’t in Competitive Play just yet. But I am keeping my fingers crossed for the next update. Because, man I have tried Mauga in quick play, it was so fun!
