Alright, guys, so I’ve been diving deep into Solo Leveling: Arise, and let me tell you, figuring out the weapons has been a JOURNEY. I wanted to share my experience, what I did, how it worked, and my findings so you can get a leg up.
My Weapon Tier List Adventure Begins
First, I started playing. I just picked up whatever weapon looked cool, you know? Big swords? Awesome. Daggers? Let’s go! Didn’t really pay attention to stats or anything. I just wanted to smash some monsters, and progress.

I quickly found myself… stuck. I was hitting a wall, getting my butt kicked by monsters that seemed way tougher than me. Clearly, my “cool factor” strategy wasn’t working.
Digging into the Details
So, I knew I had to get smarter. I hit up some online forums and guides, and the tier lists started to become very important to me.
I spent some gold – a LOT of gold, sadly – pulling for different weapons. It felt like a gacha game within a gacha game! I got some duplicates, some low-tier stuff, and a few that looked promising, I really wanted to try a few of those SSR weapons, but the drop rate, sheesh!
Testing and Experimenting
This is where the REAL fun began. I started to use all the weapons I found. I equiped each weapon and went into some of the easier stages, the ones I could already beat, just to get a feel for the attack animations, the speed, the range. Some weapons felt clunky, others felt super smooth.
I started taking notes. Seriously, pen and paper, old-school style. I wrote down how fast I could clear a stage with each weapon, how many hits it took to kill certain enemies, and how often I had to dodge. It was a bit tedious, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do.
- Weapon Name: [Insert Weapon Name Here]
- Clear Time: [Insert Time Here]
- Hits to Kill: [Insert Number Here]
- Notes: [Insert Notes like “Fast attacks,” “Good range,” “Feels clunky”]
Then, I moved onto the tougher stages, the ones that had been giving me trouble. This is where the real differences started to show. Some weapons that felt okay in the easy stages just couldn’t cut it against the harder enemies. Others surprised me, performing way better than I expected.

My (Current) Conclusions
After all this testing, I’ve got a MUCH better idea of which weapons are worth investing in. While I’m still refining my own personal tier list, I can confidently say that some of the weapons I initially dismissed are actually pretty powerful, and some of the “cool” ones… well, they’re staying on the bench. And some of the SSR weapons are indeed game changers, but not all of them.
I’m still working to refine my weapon tier list, but that is what I tried and did. I hope my experience can help some of you.
