Alright, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with “Solo Leveling: Arise” and its weapon system. I’m no pro gamer, but I like to tinker and figure things out, so here’s how I went about creating my own weapon tier list.
Getting Started
First, I just played. Like, a lot. I wanted to get a feel for different weapons without getting bogged down in stats and numbers right away. I tried out anything that looked cool or had an interesting description. Mostly I just wanted to smash monsters and see what felt good.

Experimenting
Once I had a decent grasp of the game, I started paying more attention. Which weapons were clearing enemies faster? Which ones felt clunky or weak? I focused on a few key things:
- Damage Output: Pretty obvious, how quickly can this thing kill stuff?
- Attack Speed: Faster attacks can sometimes be better than one big, slow hit.
- Skills: Some weapons have awesome special abilities.
- Feel:This is hard to describe, some weapons just are satiftory.
I didn’t write anything down yet, just started forming some mental notes. Like, “Okay, that sword is pretty sick, but this spear feels way faster.” Stuff like that.
Making Some Rough Groupings
After a good amount of playtime, I started to group weapons in my head. You know, like “These are the top-tier damage dealers,” “These are pretty good, but not amazing,” and “These feel kinda weak.” And of course, all the weapons’ skills.
The “Spreadsheet” (aka My Notepad)
Then, I create my notepad, I start jotting down the names of the weapons and my little groupings. Nothing fancy, just a simple list. I might add a few notes like “Super fast attacks” or “Awesome fire skill.” and other things.
Refining the List
This is where I spent the most time. I’d go back and forth, trying out weapons again, comparing them directly. “Is this sword really better than that other one?” I’d ask myself. I’d switch between them constantly, running the same stages to see which felt better, which cleared faster, and which was fun.
Finalizing (For Now!)
Eventually, I had a list I felt pretty good about. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure other people will have different opinions, but it’s my tier list based on my experience. And I’ll probably keep tweaking it as I play more and unlock new weapons!

So that’s it! That’s how I went about making my own weapon tier list. It was a fun process, and it helped me understand the game better. Hope this helps you a bit too! Now go smash some monsters!
