Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Sword of Convallaria lately, and I gotta say, Maitha has quickly become one of my favorite characters. She’s a beast with that AoE damage, and I’ve been experimenting like crazy to find the best build for her. Here’s what I’ve been up to and what’s worked for me.
The Initial Struggle
First off, I totally underestimated Maitha. I threw some random gear on her, thinking, “Yeah, she’ll be fine.” Big mistake. She was getting wrecked, and her damage was, well, sad. I realized I needed to actually, you know, think about her build. I’m noob lol.
Diving into the Details
So, I started researching. I spent hours reading guides, and forum, and even though I don’t like videos and most of my friends don’t have the same schedule as me, I still watched a few videos about it and I even discussed it with my friends on my time, trying to figure out the best way to maximize her potential. It seemed like everyone had a different opinion, but a few key things kept popping up:
- ATK% is King (or Queen): Maitha’s damage scales primarily off her attack, so stacking as much ATK% as possible is crucial.
- Crit Rate/Crit DMG: Once you’ve got a decent amount of ATK%, you want to start focusing on those juicy crits.
- Speed is Key:Maitha needs the speed to use her skills first, and to attack more times.
- SP: Maitha’s SP is not enough, she needs more SP.
My Experimentation Phase
Armed with this knowledge, I started experimenting. I tried different combinations of gear, running her through various stages and seeing how she performed. I even kept a little notebook (yeah, I’m a nerd) to track my results. My goal is to use her ultimate skill more times.
The “Aha!” Moment
After a lot of trial and error, I finally landed on a build that I’m really happy with. I focused on getting as much ATK% as possible, then worked on balancing my Crit Rate and Crit DMG. I also made sure she had enough Speed to get her attacks off quickly.

- For the head, body, and accessories, I got ATK% up first. Then, I try to get Speed, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG up.
- For skill I want to upgrade all her skills.
The Final Result (for Now!)
My Maitha is now a force to be reckoned with. Her AoE attacks are devastating, and she can often clear entire waves of enemies in a single turn. I’m still tweaking things here and there, but I’m pretty confident that this is a solid build for her.
