Alright, so I’ve been playing Genshin Impact for a while now, and I’ve always wanted that Primordial Jade Winged-Spear. It just looks so cool, and everyone says it’s amazing for characters like Xiao. I kept hearing different things about whether or not it was actually on the standard banner, so I decided to do some digging and, well, try to get it myself.
My “Research” Phase
First, I scoured the internet. I checked forums, Reddit posts, and even some YouTube videos. Some people swore it was on the standard banner, while others said it was only on limited-time weapon banners. It was all pretty confusing, honestly. I really did a lot of searching that lasted for days, and I still have no accurate conclusion. So I decided to do it myself.
The Wishing Begins (and Continues…)
Then came the hard part: saving up Primogems. I did all my daily commissions, participated in every event I could, and even explored every nook and cranny of the map for those precious chests. I also used up some of my Starglitter to get more Acquaint Fates (the ones for the standard banner).I even bought some Genesis Crystal and converted them into Primogems.
I started pulling on the standard banner, one ten-pull at a time. I got a bunch of 4-star weapons and characters, some of which were actually pretty good, but no spear. I kept pulling, and pulling, and pulling. I lost count of how many wishes I made. My Primogem stash dwindled, and I started to feel a little discouraged.
The Result (or Lack Thereof)
After all that, did I get the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear? Nope. Not a single one. I got a couple of 5-star weapons, including a Skyward Spine (another polearm!), but not the one I was hoping for. It appears the spear is too rare to get.
So, based on my extensive personal experience, it is absolutely on the standard banner cause I have seen my friend got it, It just has a super low drop rate. I might have just been unlucky, but it definitely feels like it’s rarer than some of the other 5-star weapons.
I’ll keep trying, of course, whenever I manage to save up enough Primogems again. Maybe one day, I’ll finally get that spear. But for now, my Xiao will have to make do with something else. Sigh.
