Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following your instructions and example:
Alright, so I decided to get serious about figuring out the “Vow of the Disciple” loot table. I kept seeing people talk about what drops where, but I never found a simple, straightforward guide. So, I figured, screw it, I’ll make my own! I jumped in, did many runs, and here is how I did it and what I’ve figured out.

Getting Started
First things first, I just started running the raid. A lot. Like, a lot. I joined a few groups, some experienced, some total newbies like myself. The important thing was getting those clears and seeing what dropped from each encounter.
I grab a notebook. Yeah, a real, physical notebook. Seems old-school, I know, but it just felt easier to jot things down quickly while playing. Plus, you can’t really alt-tab out in the middle of a fight, right?
Tracking the Loot
Each time we finished an encounter, I’d quickly scribble down what everyone got. Didn’t matter if it was something I needed or not, I just wrote it all down. My notes looked like a total mess at first, just a bunch of weapon names and armor pieces all jumbled together.
- First Encounter: Lots of class items, some weapons… hard to see a pattern at first.
- Second Encounter: Okay, starting to notice more weapons here, a specific one that will not show up in other places…
- Third Encounter: It seem like a fixed loot.
- Forth Encounter: Seem some armors here.
After each run, I tried to make sense of my notes. I started grouping the loot by encounter, creating little lists for each one. It slowly started to form some patterns, like “okay, this encounter seems to favor these types of weapons,” or “this one always drops a class item.”
Figuring Out the Patterns
The biggest “aha!” moment was when I started comparing my notes with others online. I found some community-made spreadsheets and charts (no, I won’t link them, you said no links!). While they weren’t always perfect, they gave me a good starting point to compare my own findings.
It was a grind, I am going to be honest. There was some luck involved, for sure. Some encounters took way more runs than others to figure out. But eventually, I felt like I had a pretty solid grasp on what could drop where.

My Loot Table (Sort Of)
Now, I’m not going to give you a full, detailed loot table here. That would take away some of the fun of discovery! My notes are still messy with all my own words and records! But I can give you some general tips:
- Certain encounters definitely have a higher chance for specific weapon types.
- Don’t expect every piece of armor to drop from every encounter. It’s pretty spread out.
- Keep an eye out for those hidden chests – they can have some good stuff!
The best advice I can give? Just get in there and play! Pay attention to what drops, take some notes, and you’ll start to see the patterns yourself. Good luck, and may the RNG gods be ever in your favor!
