Okay, so I’ve been seeing “Miss Hina” all over the Genshin Impact forums and social media lately. I finally decided to bite the bullet and figure out what all the fuss was about. Turns out, it’s a whole thing related to Gorou, the adorable dog-boy general of the Watatsumi Island resistance. And let me tell you, the process was… an experience.
My “Miss Hina” Adventure
First, I logged into Genshin, obviously. I knew I needed to get to Inazuma, so I made sure my main team was ready for a bit of a trek (and some potential fights). My trusty Keqing, Zhongli, Bennett, and Xingqiu were ready to roll.

I’d read somewhere that you need to complete a bunch of story quests first.
Yae Miko’s story quest needed doing, so, I got started.
After a couple of hours I was able to start the quest that lets you unlock the Miss Hina content.
I started Gorou’s Hangout Event. Let me tell you, navigating through all the dialogue options was a bit of a maze! I kept accidentally picking the wrong choices and ending up with the “normal” endings.

I finally managed to trigger the specific route where Gorou gets, uh, “convinced” to dress up as Miss Hina. It involved a lot of back-and-forth with Yae Miko and some questionable advice from other characters, but it was hilarious.
- Choose the dialogue option to support Yae.I am unsure about the other routes.
The ending? Oh man, the ending. Seeing Gorou, all flustered and embarrassed in that outfit, was priceless. I definitely took a bunch of screenshots. I even set one as my desktop background for a while, just for laughs.
So yeah, that’s my Miss Hina story. It was a weird, winding road, but totally worth it for the sheer comedic value. If you’re a Genshin player and haven’t experienced it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go. Just be prepared for some serious second-hand embarrassment for our poor, unsuspecting Gorou!
