Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into optimizing my Jiaoqiu build, and let me tell you, the relic grind is REAL. I wanted to share what I’ve learned so far, because it’s been a bit of a journey, and maybe this can save some folks some time and energy.
Starting Out – What I Thought I Knew
Initially, I was just slapping on whatever relics had decent main stats. I figured, “Hey, as long as I’ve got some ATK% and Wind DMG, I’m good, right?” Wrong! I mean, it worked okay-ish, but I wasn’t seeing the big damage numbers I wanted. My Jiaoqiu felt… underwhelming.
The Deep Dive – Experimentation Time
So, I started experimenting. I pulled out every single 5-star relic I had and started mixing and matching. I spent, like, an entire weekend just running the same domain over and over, trying different combinations. It was tedious, I won’t lie. But, it paid off.
First, I focused on the 2-piece sets. Here’s what I tested:
- 2-Piece Wind Set + 2-Piece ATK% Set: This was my initial go-to. Seemed like a safe bet.
- 4-Piece Wind Set: I saw some people rocking this, so I wanted to see if the 4-piece bonus was worth it.
- 2-Piece Wind Set + 2-Piece Speed Set: Figured I would try that for his ultimate.
The Results – What Actually Worked
After tons of runs, here’s what I found worked best for my playstyle (which is all about maximizing Jiaoqiu’s Ultimate damage):
- The Winner: 2-Piece Wind DMG + 2-Piece ATK%. Seriously, this consistently gave me the highest damage output. The 4-piece Wind set was okay, but the extra ATK% from the 2-piece just made a bigger difference.
- Runner-Up:The speed set, which gives a good bonus for his ultimate.
Now, for the main stats, I prioritized these:
- Body: Crit Rate or Crit DMG (depending on what I needed to balance my ratio)
- Feet: ATK%
- Orb: Wind DMG Bonus
- Rope: ATK%
Substats – The Real Pain
Substats… oh boy. This is where the real grind begins. I’m still working on perfecting these, but I’m aiming for:
- Crit Rate
- Crit DMG
- ATK%
- Break Effect
Getting those perfect substats is a nightmare. I’ve probably thrown away hundreds of relics at this point. But, slowly but surely, I’m getting closer to my ideal build.
Wrapping Up – My Current Setup
So, to recap, my Jiaoqiu is currently rocking the 2-Piece Wind DMG Bonus set and 2-Piece ATK% set, with a focus on Crit Rate/DMG, ATK%, and Break Effect substats. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely the best I’ve managed to put together so far. It’s a constant work in progress, though!
