Okay, so I wanted to level up my Yinlin in Wuthering Waves, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I started by, you know, actually getting Yinlin. Pulling her was a whole other story, took me a while, and many, many pulls later… finally, there she was!
Then came the real work – gathering all those materials. I needed a bunch of stuff, and honestly, I didn’t even know where to start. I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around, killing random mobs, hoping they’d drop something useful. Turns out, that’s not the most efficient way to do things.
So, I did what any sensible person would do: I looked it up. I needed:
- Shell Credits: Always, Always need a tone of these, for everything.
- Whisperin Cores: those basic ones that drop from a bunch of different Tacet Discords.
- Cadence Seeds: These only drop from a specific elite.
- Scale Amalgams: I think these come from a boss.
Farming Time!
First, I tackled the Whisperin Cores. These drop from all kinds of Tacet Discords, so I just went around fighting everything that looked like it might drop them. I found a few good spots with a bunch of them clustered together, and just kept going back and forth, clearing them out.
Next, I figured I’d go for the Cadence Seeds. I fought the elite, the “Lampylumen Myriad” a bunch of times. It took a while, but I eventually got enough. It’s all about persistence, I guess.
Then there were the Scale Amalgams. I looked up that this come from the “Mourning Aix”. I fight it several times and finally get the materials.
Finally, the easy part – Shell Credits. I already had a decent amount saved up from just playing the game, but I needed more. So, I did a few Simulation Challenges, and sold some extra materials I didn’t need. That topped me up nicely.
After all that, I went back to Yinlin’s character screen and hit that level-up button. Boom! Max level, and ready to dish out some serious damage. It felt good, man. It felt really good.
