Alright, guys, so I finally hit level 100 with my main in Genshin. It’s been a long grind, and honestly, the ascension process was a bit of a pain, but totally worth it in the end. Let me walk you through what I did.
Getting Ready
First things first, I made sure I had everything I needed before I even thought about hitting that ascension button. Nothing worse than getting halfway through and realizing you’re missing some random flower or enemy drop.
- Character EXP Materials: I stocked up on a TON of Hero’s Wit and Adventurer’s Experience. I mean, you need a ridiculous amount to get from 90 to 100. I spent like a whole week just farming Ley Line Outcrops.
- Mora: Leveling up and ascending takes a boatload of Mora. Seriously, I was broke for a while there. More Ley Lines!
- Boss Materials: I needed those special drops from the world bosses. So, I had my weekly boss fights all planned out. Made sure to use my Condensed Resin to get double the rewards. Efficiency, baby!
- Local Specialties: Depending on the character, they all needed some type of local flower, ore, bug, and so on. I used an interactive map to mark and find the spots. Don’t want to be running around aimlessly.
- Common Enemy Drops: The basic stuff, masks, scrolls, slime, and so on. I made a route and just beat up every Hilichurl and slime I saw for a few days.
The Ascension Grind
Once I had my checklist complete, It’s time to start.
Farmed those Domains: A lot of domains, over and over, and over. Using the Condensed Resin is good, saving a lot of time.
Checked my inventory: It is important, make sure everything is prepared.
I started the ascension process, finally.

And there you have it! My main character, finally at level 100. It took a while, and it was definitely a grind, but seeing those boosted stats makes it all feel worthwhile. Now, to start farming artifacts to make them even stronger… The grind never ends, does it?
