Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Wuthering Waves, and let me tell you, figuring out this whole craftable weapons thing was a JOURNEY. I wanted to share what I learned, ’cause honestly, it wasn’t super straightforward at first.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed blueprints. No blueprint, no weapon, right? I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around, hoping to stumble upon something. Eventually, I found out that you can actually buy them from the Weapon Shop in Jinzhou. Talk to Uncle Wei. Should’ve checked there sooner, live and learn, I guess!

The Forging Process
Once I had a blueprint, I was like, “Alright, let’s do this!” Only to realize I needed a bunch of materials. Back to exploring! The materials I needed were, of course, scattered all over the place. I spent hours running around, collecting stuff, and battling those weird monsters. The main things that I kept needing were:
- Shell Credits: These are the currency of the forging.
- Standard Weapon Molds: Every craftable weapon needs one of these.
- Crystals: Depend on which weapon I forge, these Crystals are different.
After gathering it all, I went to a crafting bench. Oh, finding one of those took a little while too. There’s one pretty close to the Weapon Shop, but it’s not super obvious. I had to ask in the game chat, and someone finally pointed me in the right direction.
At the bench, it was pretty simple. I selected the blueprint I wanted, made sure I had all the materials(I messed this up a couple of times, double-check!), and hit “forge”. Boom! New weapon.
Was It Worth It?
Honestly? Yeah, I think so. The crafted weapons aren’t necessarily the best in the game, but they’re pretty solid, especially early on. Plus, it gave me something to do, a goal to work towards, you know? And it felt good to finally figure it all out, after running around like a headless chicken for a while.
My advice? Don’t be like me. Go to the Weapon shop first, buy the blue prints, and then start your material hunt. Save yourself some time and frustration!
