Okay, so yesterday I decided to tackle the Tower of Adversity and see if I could finally snag those 400 points. I’d tried before, but always seemed to get stuck around the 350 mark. It was frustrating!
My First Few Attempts (and Failures!)
My initial runs were, to put it mildly, a disaster. I went in with my usual team, thinking I could just brute force my way through. Nope. Got completely wrecked by wave 3. Then I tried switching up my damage dealers, thinking maybe I needed more firepower. Still no luck. I kept tweaking and adjusting, but nothing seemed to click. It was like hitting a brick wall.

Changing My Strategy
After about an hour of getting nowhere, I decided to take a break and actually, you know, think about what I was doing. I realized I was so focused on damage output that I was completely ignoring defense and sustain. Classic mistake.
So, I went back to the drawing board. I spent some time looking at my heroes, checking their skills, and trying to figure out a team comp that could not only dish out damage but also survive long enough to actually win.
The Winning Team Comp
Here’s what I finally settled on:
- Tank: I used my trusty tank, He has great self-healing.
- Healer:For support, I have a healer that gives a good protect.
- Main DPS: This is my main damage dealer.
- Support DPS/Crowd Control: I needed some support to debuff.
- Flex Spot:I take the best hero.
The Actual Run
With my new team in place, I started another run. The first few waves were a breeze. I could feel the difference immediately. My team was taking way less damage, and my healer was able to keep everyone topped up without any problems.
The middle waves were still challenging, but I managed them by carefully targeting the enemy healers and damage dealers first. Timing my skills was also key. I made sure to save my big attacks for when they would have the most impact, and I used my crowd control abilities to interrupt enemy attacks whenever possible.
The final wave was intense! It took a few tries, but I eventually managed to pull it off. It was all about staying focused, prioritizing targets, and making sure my healer didn’t get overwhelmed.

Finally, 400 Points!
When I finally saw that 400-point score pop up, I was stoked! It felt great to finally overcome that hurdle. All that time spent experimenting and adjusting my strategy finally paid off.
It’s not rocket science, but you need to plan a little.
My advice: Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things. It’s the only way.
