Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “slow benz” thing, trying to get it to, well, not be so slow. It’s been a real pain, honestly. I started by just staring at it, wondering what the heck was going on.
First thing I did was check the obvious stuff. You know, like, is it even plugged in right? Is the power switch flipped? Basic, dumb stuff. Turns out, yeah, everything was good there. So, onto the more complicated things.
I figured maybe it was just overloaded. Maybe the memory,CPU or harddisk was completely full. I started, checking task manager and see what’s it’s working, then, it shows many items was running. I am not sure what’s the useful or useless.
I killed a bunch of processes that I thought I didn’t need. Big mistake. Turns out, some of those were pretty important. It got even slower. Oops.
Then I thought, “Maybe it’s a software problem?” So I did a full system scan. Took forever, but it actually found some junk! A few viruses, some malware. I cleaned all that up, feeling pretty good about myself.
- Checked basic connections.
- Tried to free up memory. (Failed)
- Ran a full system scan.
- Removed detected malware.
Did it work? Nope. Still slow as molasses. At this point, I’m pulling my hair out. I started researching and found the other people had this problem.
And try to find solution from other’s experience. I spent couple of hours to try, the situation seems going better.
Finally, after, I think I’ve finally got it running a little better. It’s still not perfect, but it’s at least usable now. I’m still not 100% sure what fixed it in the end. Probably a combination of all the stuff I tried.
