Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Bows and Bandits” thing popping up all over my Monopoly GO! feed, and I finally decided to give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.
First, I made sure my Monopoly GO! app was updated. You know how it is, gotta have the latest version for these events. Once that was done, I jumped into the game.

Getting Started
I looked around for the event banner. Usually, it’s right there on the main screen, hard to miss. Yep, there it was, “Bows and Bandits”. I tapped on it and got the rundown of the rules.
Basically, it’s all about landing on specific tiles, kinda like the other events they do. This time, it was all about those Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad tiles. Every time I’d hit one, I’d get points.
The Grind
So, I started rolling. My usual strategy is to just play normally, not really aiming for anything specific, but this time I was really trying to hit those special tiles. It was a bit of a slow start, to be honest. I kept landing on properties, and you know, having to pay rent is never fun.
- First few rolls: landed on properties. Bummer.
- Then, bam! A Chance tile. Sweet, some points!
- Another property, another property… ugh.
- Finally, a Railroad! More points!
I kept at it, though. I used a few of those dice multipliers I’d been saving up, hoping to get some big scores. It kinda worked, I got a couple of good hits on Railroads with a 10x multiplier. Felt pretty good.
Collecting Rewards
As I played, I noticed the progress bar at the top of the screen filling up. Every time I’d hit a milestone, I’d get a reward. Mostly it was dice rolls and cash, which is always useful. I did manage to snag a few sticker packs, but nothing super rare, unfortunately.
Final Thoughts
After about an hour, I’d made some decent progress. I didn’t finish the whole event, but I got a good chunk of the rewards. I decided to take a break, maybe I will pick it up and finish the event, but I am not super exciting about it. It’s a fun little event, but nothing groundbreaking. If you’re playing Monopoly GO! anyway, it’s worth doing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Just play like you, and enjoy the game is my recommendation.
