Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea of Bray Wyatt in the Nexus. It’s something I’ve wanted to see, a real “what if” scenario. I finally decided to dive in and see if I could make it happen in, you know, a video game.
First, I booted up my trusty old copy of, well, let’s just say it’s a wrestling game. The character creation suite is pretty robust, so I knew I could at least get a decent-looking Wyatt.

Creating the “New” Bray
- I started with the basics – his look. I spent a good hour just tweaking the facial features, trying to get that Wyatt intensity just right. The beard was key, of course.
- Then came the attire. I wanted something that felt Nexus-y but still had that Wyatt swamp-preacher vibe. I ended up going with a darker, more tattered version of the classic Nexus gear. Black and yellow, but, like, dirty black and yellow.
- The moveset was next. I loaded him up with all his signature stuff – Sister Abigail, the spider walk, all that creepy goodness. But I also threw in some more power moves, thinking about how he might wrestle if he was part of a dominant, aggressive faction.
Next step, get him and other nexus members to become a team. It took some time, and I have to do serverals steps.
Once Wyatt was ready, I jumped into the game’s universe mode. I immediately inserted him into the Nexus. It was kinda clunky, honestly. The game’s storylines aren’t really built for this kind of thing. It’s not very smart.
I played through a few matches, just to see how it felt. It was… interesting. Seeing Wyatt alongside, say, Barrett and Otunga was definitely a trip. The dynamic was weird, but in a cool way. Like, here’s this group of ruthless upstarts, and then there’s Wyatt, this whole other level of unsettling.
The biggest challenge was making it feel believable. The game’s AI isn’t exactly brilliant, so sometimes the Nexus members would do their own thing, and Wyatt would be off doing his creepy stuff in the corner. It wasn’t always seamless.
But when it worked, it really worked. There were moments where I could almost imagine this being a real storyline. Wyatt leading the Nexus, taking them to a whole new level of destructive chaos. It was a fun little experiment, even if it was just in a video game.

Ultimately, it’s just a fantasy, right? But it was cool to see it play out, even in a limited way. It definitely got me thinking about all the “what ifs” in wrestling history. Maybe I’ll try another one of these soon…
