Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of Genshin Impact, specifically to figure out this whole “energy concentrating component” thing. I’d heard about it, seen some mentions online, but never really understood what it was or how to get it. So, I figured, why not document my journey and maybe help some other confused souls along the way?
First, I fired up the game. My main team is pretty solid, but I wasn’t sure if I needed a specific character or anything, so I just went with my usual crew. I figured I’d start by just wandering around, doing my daily commissions, and keeping an eye out for anything that looked…energy-concentrate-y.

After a couple of hours of that, and a few domain runs, nothing. Zilch. I was starting to think this was some elaborate prank the internet was playing on me. So, I decided to get a bit more methodical. I opened up my quest log and started looking through any unfinished world quests, thinking maybe it was tied to one of those. I mean, that’s how a lot of stuff unlocks in this game, right?
And bingo! I spotted a quest I hadn’t finished, something about investigating some strange energy readings in Liyue. I’d probably started it ages ago and then gotten distracted by a shiny new character banner or something. This is how it usually went.
I teleported over to the quest marker and started following the instructions. It involved a bit of running around, talking to some NPCs, the usual Genshin quest stuff. Then, there was a puzzle! I love puzzles (sometimes). This one involved those elemental monuments, and, I’m not gonna lie, it took me a few tries. I kept messing up the order, and, whoops, ended up fighting a bunch of hilichurls more times than I’d like to admit.
Getting it done
Finally, I cracked the code, the monuments lit up, and… a cutscene! Always a good sign. It showed some kind of device powering up, and then, bam, the “energy concentrating component” was in my inventory. Sweet!
So, it turns out it wasn’t some super rare drop or anything, just a reward for completing a specific world quest. I guess the moral of the story is, don’t ignore those unfinished quests! You never know what goodies you might be missing out on. Hopefully, my little adventure helps someone else out there. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to figure out what I actually do with this thing…
