Okay, so I’ve been seeing all these edits and fan art combining Seth Rollins with Captain America, and I gotta say, I was intrigued. The man’s already got the superhero physique and charisma, so why not take it a step further? I decided to give it a shot myself, and let me tell you, it was a fun ride.
First, I gathered some images. I needed good, high-quality shots of Seth in his various ring gears and some classic Captain America poses. That part was easy, I just grabbed some photos online and put them in a new document.

Next, I started with the basics. I opened up my trusty old photo editing software – nothing fancy, just something I’m comfortable with. I loaded up a picture of Seth in his black and gold gear, because that seemed like the easiest to work with. Then, I found a picture of Cap in a similar pose, striking and heroic, you know?
The real work began with merging the two. I carefully cut out Cap’s shield from the image, making sure to get the edges nice and smooth. Then, I pasted it onto the Seth Rollins picture, resizing and rotating it until it looked like he was actually holding it. It took some fiddling, but I eventually got it to look pretty natural.
The color matching was a bit tricky. Cap’s shield is iconic – red, white, and blue – and it didn’t quite mesh with Seth’s existing gear. So, I used the color adjustment tools in my software to tweak the hues and saturation. I wanted it to look like a seamless blend, not just a pasted-on image, it took some trails to get the right color.
Then came the fun part – adding details. I used some digital painting techniques to add some battle damage to the shield, a few scratches and scuffs to make it look like it had seen some action. I also added some subtle highlights and shadows to make it all blend together more realistically.
The Final Touches
- Refined the edges, making sure everything looked clean and polished.
- Adjusted the overall lighting and contrast to give it a more dramatic feel.
- Added a subtle background, just a hint of smoke and debris to add to the atmosphere.
Finally,I showed it off and everyone loved * looks fantastic. It’s not perfect, of course, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a fun little project, and it definitely scratched that creative itch. Might even try some more wrestler/superhero mashups in the future! Who knows, maybe Roman Reigns as Superman next?
