Okay, so I’ve been grinding in Solo Leveling lately, like really grinding. And let me tell you, the weapon choices? Overwhelming. So many options, so many stats to consider, it’s a real headache. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and figure out what’s actually worth using. I mean, who has time to test every single weapon in the game, right? This is my journey of creating a tier list for the best weapons of solo leveling.
First things first, I had to establish some ground rules. I figured the best way to approach this was to consider the weapons’ damage output, their special effects, and how easy they were to get. It’s a simple enough plan.
Experimenting the damage
Then I started farming. I spent hours, days even, just running through gates, dungeons, whatever I could find, just to collect as many different weapons as I could. My inventory was overflowing with swords, daggers, staffs, you name it. It’s tough work, I’m not going to lie. My fingers were practically cramping, but I had to keep going, for science! Once I had a decent arsenal, I started testing.
Now, I couldn’t just hit a dummy a few times and call it a day. No, I had to be methodical. I found a nice, juicy boss with a ton of health and just started wailing on it with each weapon. I timed how long it took to kill it, tracked how much damage each weapon dealt in every second, the whole nine yards. I had spreadsheets, charts, the works. I was living and breathing weapon data.
Special effect time
But raw damage isn’t everything, right? Special effects can totally change the game. So, I paid close attention to those, too. Some weapons had some seriously cool effects, like adding bleed damage, increasing critical hit chance, or even summoning little helpers. This part was actually kind of fun. Seeing all those cool effects in action was pretty satisfying. I noted each effect, tested how often they triggered, and assessed their overall impact. Again, more spreadsheets, more charts. My organizational skills were seriously getting a workout.
How hard are they to get?
Lastly, I had to factor in how easy these weapons were to obtain. I mean, what’s the point of a super powerful weapon if you can only get it by sacrificing your firstborn to a volcano god? Exactly. So, I checked drop rates, quest requirements, crafting materials, everything. Some weapons were a breeze to get, while others were a total pain. This was probably the most tedious part of the whole process, but hey, it had to be done.
After all that grinding, testing, and documenting, I finally had enough data to put together my tier list. It wasn’t easy, and it definitely took longer than I expected, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Here’s a little sneak peek at what I found:
- S-Tier: These are the big boys, the cream of the crop. Stuff like Demon King’s Longsword, which has insane damage and a cool shadow effect. You’ll rarely see these.
- A-Tier: These are still really good, but maybe not quite as overpowered as the S-Tier. Think Knight Killer, which packs a punch and adds bleed damage.
- B-Tier: These are your workhorses, the weapons that will get you through most of the game. They’re solid, reliable, and relatively easy to find.
- C-Tier: These are… fine. They’ll do in a pinch, but you’ll want to replace them as soon as possible.
- D-Tier: Just… don’t. Seriously, don’t even bother. These are basically just fancy sticks.
Of course, this is just my opinion, and your mileage may vary. But hopefully, this tier list will give you a good starting point for your own Solo Leveling weapon journey. Happy hunting!
