Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Goblin Queen deck in Marvel Snap, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I saw some chatter online about how good she is, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First off, I started by throwing together a deck with cards I thought might work well. I included some heavy hitters like Hulk and Magneto, thinking they’d be good finishers. Then I added some control cards like Storm and Professor X, because, you know, sometimes you just gotta lock down a location. And for the core of the strategy, I included the star of the show, Goblin Queen, along with some cards that could help me to get her out easily, such as Sunspot and Quinjet.
Initially, it was rough. I lost a bunch of games because my deck was all over the place. Sometimes I’d draw all my high-cost cards early, and other times I’d have nothing but low-cost ones. It was a mess, honestly. But I’m not one to give up easily, so I started tweaking.
Refining the Deck
I realized I needed more consistency, so I added America Chavez to make sure I’d draw my key cards more often. I also swapped out some of the heavier cards for ones that could disrupt my opponent’s strategy, like Cosmo and Enchantress. It felt like I was onto something.
After a few more games, I noticed a pattern. Goblin Queen was doing amazing to pull the key cards of my opponent. But most of the time, I just don’t have enough power to win. So, I added more power to the deck, cards like The Infinaut and She-Hulk. They helped me to push more power in one single turn and made me able to close the game after I get the key cards with the Goblin Queen.
Here’s what I finally came up with:
- Sunspot
- Quinjet
- Armor
- Sentinel
- Cosmo
- Enchantress
- Goblin Queen
- The Infinaut
- Magneto
- She-Hulk
- America Chavez
- Hulk
With this setup, I started winning more consistently. The game plan is simple: play Sunspot and Quinjet early. It can help me to prepare for the mid-game. Then, try to disrupt the opponent with Cosmo and Enchantress and lock down a location if possible. Finally, use Goblin Queen to pull their key cards, while using The Infinaut, She-Hulk, Magneto, and Hulk to secure the win. Of course, the plan will change based on what locations show up and the match itself. But, with this deck, I can easily adjust my strategy and win the game!
It’s not perfect, of course. I still run into decks that counter mine, but that’s just part of the game. Overall, I’m pretty happy with how this Goblin Queen deck turned out. It’s fun, it’s challenging, and it’s definitely not your typical Marvel Snap deck. So, if you’re looking for something different to try, give it a go! You might be surprised at how well it works.
