Okay, so, I’ve been a huge fan of Roman Reigns for years. That guy, he’s just…the man, right? But lately, I’ve been obsessed with something specific: getting his piercing blue eyes in my photos. Not literally, of course, but I wanted to get that same kind of intense look.
First, I watched a ton of his matches and interviews online, just really studying how his eyes looked. I noticed it wasn’t just the color, it was the intensity, the way he seemed to stare right through the camera. I started playing around with my own eyes in the mirror. Yeah, I felt a little silly, but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?
Then I dug out my old digital camera, the one I hadn’t touched in ages. I figured I needed to get the lighting just right to capture that kind of depth in my eyes. I tried taking pictures in all different kinds of light – natural light, using lamps, even messing with the flash. It was a lot of trial and error, let me tell you. I must have taken hundreds of photos, deleting most of them because they just didn’t look right.
Playing with Colors

After that, I started focusing on my expression. I practiced that intense stare in the mirror, trying to channel my inner Tribal Chief. I realized it wasn’t just about the eyes, it was about the whole face. The slight furrow of the brow, the set of the jaw…it all contributed to that powerful look. And, honestly, I started to feel kinda powerful too. Go figure!
Finally, after weeks of experimenting, I think I nailed it. I took a bunch of photos with the blue contacts, using a combination of natural light and a strategically placed lamp to create some shadows. I practiced my stare, focused my expression, and snapped away. And when I looked at the results, I was actually pretty impressed. I finally got that intense, blue-eyed look I was going for. It might not be exactly like Roman Reigns, but it’s definitely something. It’s my own version of that intensity, and I’m pretty proud of it.
It was a weird little project, but it was fun. And hey, who knows, maybe I’ll use these new skills in my next profile picture. You never know when you might need to channel your inner Tribal Chief, right?
