Today, I started playing this new game, “Wuthering Waves,” and man, it’s been a wild ride. I heard about this Relic Merchant and figured I’d check it out. I booted up the game and got straight to it. My character was ready to go, and I was pumped to see what this merchant was all about.
First things first, I needed to find this elusive Relic Merchant. I’d heard they were somewhere in Jinzhou City. So, I used the fast travel thingy to zap myself over to the central beacon in Jinzhou. From there, I started wandering around, keeping my eyes peeled. I ended up running past a bunch of buildings and some weird-looking statues.
After a bit of searching, I spotted a spot marked on my mini-map that looked promising. It was near this big, fancy building with a bunch of banners. I got closer and saw an NPC standing around. Bingo! This had to be the guy. He had a little icon over his head that looked like a bag of money, so I figured this was the Relic Merchant.
I walked up to him and hit the interact button. A chat window popped up, and I selected the option to browse his wares. And there it was, a whole list of stuff he was selling! He had these things called Shell Credits and some other materials. You could buy these things called “relics,” which looked pretty cool.
Now, here’s the tricky part. To buy these relics, you needed a special kind of currency. I think they were called Wood-textured Shards or something. I didn’t have any, so I was kinda bummed out. But then I remembered, the merchant also had an option to sell him stuff. I clicked on it, and a list of my junk popped up.
Turns out, you can sell him these things called “Intimacy Gifts.” I had a few of those from doing quests and exploring. I picked a bunch of them to sell and watched my Wood-textured Shard count go up. Sweet! Now I had enough to buy some relics.
I went back to the buy menu and snagged a couple of the relics that looked the most useful. I got a few that boosted my attack and defense stats. Felt pretty good to upgrade my gear without having to grind for hours.
Here’s a quick recap of what I did:
- Traveled to Jinzhou City using the fast travel beacon.
- Found the Relic Merchant near a big, fancy building. He had a money bag icon over his head.
- Talked to the merchant and browsed his items.
- Sold him some Intimacy Gifts to get Wood-textured Shards.
- Bought a few relics to upgrade my gear.
So yeah, that’s how I found and used the Relic Merchant in “Wuthering Waves.” It was a bit of a runaround, but totally worth it. Now my character is a bit stronger, and I’m ready to take on whatever the game throws at me next. If you’re playing this game, definitely check out the Relic Merchant. It’s a great way to get some easy upgrades!
