Okay, so today I tried to get Razor working in Genshin Impact in 2024, and let me tell you, it was a journey.
First, I started by looking up some info about the character Clorinde. I’m not sure if I spelled it correctly, but it seems like she is an Electro character, and a pretty good damage dealer. I also learned that her banner, “Illuminating Lightning,” is coming up in version 5.3. I guess I’ll have to wait a bit for that.
Then, I was browsing around for some mods. There was one for Eula, but I went with a “Clorinde 2B Mod.” I really wanted to change Razor’s appearance, and 2B’s outfit seemed really cool. Then I needed to try another mod to remove that transparency filter. You know, the one that hides some details of the characters.
After downloading the mod, I had to figure out how to install it. I don’t recall the steps exactly, but I went through some folders, copied some files, and hoped for the best. It took me a while to figure it out, but I finally managed to get it working. I spent some time admiring the new look. The 2B outfit looked awesome, but there was something off with the colors, so I fiddled around with some settings until I got it just right. The whole thing felt like a major accomplishment.
What I Did:
- Searched for information about Clorinde and her banner.
- Found and downloaded the “Clorinde 2B Mod.”
- Found and downloaded the mod for removing the transparency.
- Figured out how to install the mods (lots of trial and error!).
- Adjusted some settings to get the colors right.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it was a bit of a hassle, but I think it was worth it. Razor looks way cooler now, and it makes playing the game a bit more fun. I’m still not sure if I’ll pull for Clorinde when her banner comes out, but I’m definitely excited to see what else I can do with mods in Genshin Impact.
I might try some other character mods later. I saw one for Kujou Sara, which might be interesting. Modding can be a bit tricky, but it’s a fun way to customize the game to your liking. I’m glad I took the time to figure it out. It’s cool to see the game in a different way.
It’s a little complicated, but it feels great when you finally get it working. I might try modding other games in the future. I’m not very experienced with this kind of thing, but I’m learning.
Anyways, that was my little adventure with modding Genshin Impact today. It wasn’t easy, but I’m happy with the results. Maybe I’ll post some pictures later. I’m going to go play some more now. Bye!
