Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Road to Riches” thing in Monopoly GO, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started playing it a couple of days ago, I saw some ads about it. Initially, I just wanted to kill some time, but then I realized there might be a way to actually get some rewards out of this.
So, I started by jumping into the game and checking out this “Road to Riches” event. The basic idea is you got to collect points, hit these milestones, and you get some rewards for each one you reach. Seems pretty simple, right?
I rolled the dice, moved around the board, and started racking up points. I noticed that landing on certain tiles, like the ones with those special event tokens, gave me more points. It’s kinda like regular Monopoly, but with some extra steps to earn event points. I also started to figure out that I could up my game by using the dice multipliers.
The first few milestones were a breeze. I was picking up dice rolls, some cash, and a few of those sticker packs. Nothing too fancy, but hey, free stuff is free stuff. The rewards started to get better as I progressed. I mean, who doesn’t love more dice rolls to keep the game going? But as I got further along, I noticed it was taking more and more points to hit the next milestone. Classic, right? Make you work for it.
Here are the main ways I tried to get more points:
- Landing on Event Tiles: I aimed to land on tiles with the special event tokens as much as possible.
- Using Dice Multipliers: When I had a good feeling about a roll, I’d use the multipliers to boost my points, but you gotta be careful not to waste all your dice.
- Completing Daily Tasks: There are some daily tasks and quick wins that can give you a decent amount of points and dice rolls, too. I tried to do them when I remembered.
After grinding for a while, I managed to hit a bunch of milestones, and the rewards definitely started to get more interesting. I got a good amount of dice rolls, which is super helpful, and a decent chunk of in-game cash. And let’s not forget about the sticker packs – I’m still trying to complete a few albums, so every pack helps.
I saw somewhere that you can get up to 16, or something like that, for hitting the final milestone. That sounds pretty sweet, but I’m not quite there yet. It’s gonna take some serious grinding to get to that point, but I’m determined to see it through. I’ve heard rumors about special tournaments and other events that can give you extra points, so I’m keeping an eye out for those, too. Also, I found some books on Amazon related to Monopoly GO, but they are not free, the cheapest one is like 23.59 or something, it’s not worth it.
All in all, it’s been a fun, though sometimes frustrating, experience. It’s Monopoly, so there’s always that element of luck, but there are definitely ways to improve your odds. I’ll keep at it and see how far I can go on this Road to Riches. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually make it to the end and snag that big reward. Wish me luck!
