Okay, so today I wanted to try something new in Wuthering Waves – finding that darn House of Wonders chest. I’d heard about it from some folks online, and it sounded like a fun little challenge. Plus, who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt, right?
First, I did what any sensible person would do – I looked up some info about it. I found this interactive map that was supposed to show locations for all sorts of stuff, including supply chests. That seemed like a good starting point. But honestly, it was a bit overwhelming with so many icons, I wasn’t even sure where to begin.
Then, I stumbled upon a video guide. The guy in the video mentioned something about feeding a cat, and it would lead you to the chest. Feeding a cat? Okay, that’s something I can do. So, I booted up the game and started exploring. I found the area where the House of Wonders was supposed to be, but no cat in sight. I spent what felt like an eternity running around, checking every nook and cranny. I did find lots of sonance caskets, but still no cat to feed.
After a while, I remembered something about a chest detection gadget you can get from exploration milestones. Maybe I needed to unlock that first. So, I switched gears and focused on hitting those exploration goals. I went around, collecting stuff, fighting monsters, and generally just exploring the map. Finally, I hit that first milestone and got the gadget. This thing was supposed to ping when a chest was nearby. Sweet!
With the new gadget in hand, I went back to the House of Wonders area. I activated the thing, and it started beeping like crazy. It felt like I was getting closer! I followed the beeps, and they led me to this weird, out-of-the-way spot. I would never have looked there without it. It was like using one of those metal detectors at the beach. You never know what you will turn up. After much searching, I finally found it! There it was, the House of Wonders chest. It was hidden behind some bushes, totally out of sight.
Turns out it was actually there the whole time. I can’t believe it! I opened it up, and got a bunch of goodies. It felt pretty good to finally find it after all that searching. I will admit it took me way longer than I expected, but hey, that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
