Today, I wanna talk about how I’ve been messing around with different attack strategies in the game. I’m at Town Hall 10, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey trying to figure out what works best. At first, I tried all sorts of stuff, I watched some videos online, some said use the PEKKA Smash, and some said use the Miners.
I started with the PEKKA Smash ’cause it sounded cool, right? Big, tough PEKKAs just smashing through walls and defenses. I followed the advice from those videos, using 4 Earthquake spells to make a path. It was okay, but honestly, not as great as I hoped. Sometimes the PEKKAs went for the wrong things, or the timing got messed up, and it didn’t always get me the three stars I wanted.
Then, I switched it up and tried the Miners. You know, those little dudes that dig underground? They were pretty neat, avoiding all those defenses, but they felt kinda weak on their own. I used them in a few raids, and yeah, they got some resources, but again, not many three stars.
After that, I remembered seeing something about the Lavaloon Queen Walk. It’s basically using the Archer Queen with healers, while the Lava Hounds and Balloons take out the defenses. It sounded complicated, but I gave it a shot.
My Queen Walk Journey
Here’s how I set it up:
- First, I placed my Archer Queen and a bunch of healers behind her. The idea is, she takes out a good chunk of the base while the healers keep her alive.
- Then, I deployed the Lava Hounds to distract the air defenses, followed by the Balloons to destroy them.
It took a few tries to get the hang of it. Timing is super important. If you release the Balloons too early, they get taken out by air defenses. Too late, and the Lava Hounds are gone, leaving the Balloons vulnerable. My first few attempts were messy. I lost track of my Queen a few times, or my Balloons got fried before they could do much. But I kept practicing. I learned to watch for the air defenses and time my deployments better. I started seeing more success, getting two stars more often, and even a few three stars!
Then I thought, why not try something totally different? I experimented with a mix of Golems, Witches, and Bowlers, called GoWiBo. The videos said it’s a solid strategy, especially if you have a Clan Castle with Bowlers and a Siege Machine. I followed that composition, 3 Golems, 10 Witches, and the rest filled with Bowlers from my Clan Castle. The first time I tried it, I only got one star, which was a bummer. But I realized I needed to use the Wall Wrecker Siege Machine to help break through the walls. Once I figured that out, it got a bit better, but still not great.
Honestly, none of these strategies are perfect. Each one has its ups and downs. The key seems to be practice, practice, and more practice. And maybe a bit of luck, too. I’m still experimenting, trying to find that sweet spot. Town Hall 10 is tough, but it’s also fun to try out new things and see what works. If you’re also at TH10, don’t be afraid to experiment. You might surprise yourself with what you can achieve!
