Okay, so I’ve been super hyped for this new game, Zenless Zone Zero, or ZZZ for short. It’s made by the same folks who did Genshin Impact, so I had high hopes from the start. It’s this cool action RPG, free-to-play, which is always a plus in my book. Finally, I found that the official release date is July 4, 2024. It felt like waiting for Christmas as a kid, honestly.
First things first, I started digging around for any info I could get on the release date. I scoured the internet, checking out gaming news sites, forums, and even the official HoYoverse channels.
Then, I marked my calendar for July 4th, 2024. But you know what? I learned that you could pre-load the game two days before, on July 1st. That was a game-changer. I mean, who wants to wait even a minute longer than they have to once the game drops?
I also checked out the different time zones for the release because I didn’t want to miss the exact moment it went live. Seemed like the magic hour was going to be 3 AM BST, which is 7 PM PST on July 3rd if you’re on the West Coast. I figured that out by comparing different sources, and it looked like that was the consensus. For example, in Central Time it would be 9 PM CT. These are very useful.
While I was at it, I found out that there’s a 1.4 update coming out, not at launch, but later on, December 18th to be exact, at 11 AM UTC+8. It’s good to know that they’re already planning updates. Shows they’re committed, you know?
- Pre-load Prep: Made sure I had enough space on my PC. Cleared out some old games I wasn’t playing anymore.
- System Check: I know it’s coming out on PC, iOS, Android, and even PS5, but I’m a PC gamer at heart. I checked the specs just in case and confirmed I could download it from the Epic Games Store.
- Time Zone Calculations: Double-checked the release time for my own time zone. Didn’t want any surprises!
On July 1st, like clockwork, I started the pre-load. It was a smooth process, no hiccups, which was a relief. Then came the hard part – the final countdown to July 4th.
Finally, July 4th arrived! I woke up early, made a big cup of coffee, and fired up my PC. And there it was, ready to go.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure waiting for Zenless Zone Zero. It’s been a blast so far, and I’m excited to see what else HoYoverse has in store for us with this one. If you’re into action RPGs, you should definitely check it out!
