Okay, guys, let’s talk about the 5.0 banners, which I’ve been messing around with recently. This started on August 16th, when I saw the Genshin Impact 5.0 special program livestream. They talked about the new update, and I got pretty hyped about it.
So, on August 28th, the 5.0 Phase 1 banners were launched. This phase included Mualani and Kazuha, and they ran alongside Bennett and Xinyan. I’ve been trying to get these characters, so I started digging into how this whole banner thing works.
First off, I found out that the banners will run until September 17th, 2024. I wanted to figure out how to get the new characters. I learned about this “Pity” and “50/50” system. It’s a bit of a gamble, honestly. I had to spend some time understanding how this system works so I could “Wish with Fate” for characters on the banners. It’s a bit of luck, to be honest, sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t.
I also checked out some information about the 5.0 update. There’s a new area called Natlan, and they introduced some new characters: Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich. I also noticed my Adventure Rank needed to be up to par for some events. It’s a grind, but it keeps things interesting. I spent a few days just exploring and leveling up.
I tried my luck on the beginner banner and was surprised to find that you could get any number of 5-star characters, although it’s really all about luck. I pulled a few times and managed to get a couple of decent ones, which was pretty cool.
After doing some more research, I realized the banners will be available until October 7th, 2024. I marked my calendar and set some goals for what I wanted to achieve. The new characters from Natlan, like Mualani and Kinich, looked really cool, so I decided to focus on them.
- August 16th: Watched the Genshin Impact 5.0 special program livestream.
- August 28th: Started pulling on the 5.0 Phase 1 banners (Mualani, Kazuha, Bennett, Xinyan).
- Current Date: Still pulling, exploring Natlan, and trying to get the new characters.
I’m still working on getting all the characters I want, and it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes not. But that’s part of the game, right? I’ve been documenting my progress, keeping track of my pulls, and figuring out the best strategies. It’s a fun challenge, and I enjoy the process, even if it’s a bit frustrating at times.
This whole experience has been quite the journey. I’ve learned a lot about the game mechanics, and it’s been fun sharing my progress with you all. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes. Who knows what I’ll pull next? We’ll see!
